The NODFA Avengers, the National Cricket Team of NODFA, enjoyed a remarkable and successful season in 2024, demonstrating that NODFA is much more than a professional and community organisation—it is also a family that celebrates sportsmanship, friendship and teamwork.
The Avengers brought together doctors and professionals from different backgrounds, creating an excellent platform for networking, communication and building lasting friendships beyond the workplace. Through cricket, colleagues had the opportunity to connect with one another in a relaxed and positive environment, strengthening relationships within the wider NODFA community.
The season was a wonderful example of how sport can unite people, promote healthy lifestyles, develop leadership and teamwork, and create stronger communities. Every match provided opportunities to demonstrate discipline, respect, collaboration and the spirit of healthy competition.
