A highly significant and productive meeting was held with Mr Imtiaz Gondal, Consul General of Pakistan in Manchester, with strong representation from NODFA, highlighting the organisation’s growing role in connecting professionals, communities and institutions across the UK and beyond.
The meeting provided an excellent platform for an in-depth discussion on EPEC and its potential for further global development, with a particular focus on how Pakistani professionals and organisations can work collectively to create a stronger international presence and deliver meaningful outcomes.
A wide range of opportunities were explored, including the positive contribution that the Pakistani medical community, doctors, allied healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs and business community can make towards Pakistan’s development and the wellbeing of communities in the UK. The importance of bringing together professional expertise, business networks and community leadership was emphasised as a powerful way of creating new opportunities, supporting young professionals and strengthening links between Pakistan and the global Pakistani diaspora.
