National Overseas Doctors Family UK (NODFA) is the brain-child of Dr. Kashif Chauhan who is working in Paediatric Surgery and is the Founder and CEO of NODFA with an active participation in promoting and organising it’s activities.
Dr Mubashir Cheema
Consultant Plastic Surgeon
He is part of the Major Trauma Service at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and has an aesthetic practice. An author of two academic books on plastic surgery and several scientific publications on plastic and aesthetic surgery, he is a faculty member of FRCS(Plast) exam courses in Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent. He was a trainer on an NHS certified course teaching minor surgical skills for five years.
Dr Iqbal Bhatti
Consultant General & Colo-rectal Surgeon
I am working as a full time consultant surgeon in colorectal and general surgery. I am extremely proud to be a part of this organisation and value its commitment towards the betterment of its communities. I shall bring forward my skills of working with teams, guiding students and trainee doctors, supporting colleagues and anyone I come across through good and bad times.

Teaching is always my passion and I have done several courses including Instructor courses. I have been a NODFA member since its foundation. Working as a Consultant in Acute Medicine is changeling and I am extremely proud to be part of the Executive Teaching team and leading the Medical Teaching platform of NODFA. I would like to use this opportunity to promote educational activities locally and on a national basis and guide Junior Doctors in their career pathway & professional development.
Dr Sami Hussain
Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon
I graduated from the Uni of Sheffield and completed higher surgical training rotation in Nottingham/derby. I am fellowship trained – with experience in Hand/Wrist surgery from Chelsea and Westminster hospital, Pulvetaft Hand unit and visiting fellowship to Stanford University California.
As a founding member of the OrthopaedicNetwork, over the last 8 years we have established courses to help trainees , FRCS courses as well as provide help with fellowships and job interview advice.
I hope to help in any capacity that I can with regards to NODFA.
Dr Fatima Asif
I am a GP Trainee and like to serve the community to make it a better place for those who are struggling to accomodate themselves. I am actively involved in charity work and like to continue my services for the community under the banner of NODFA.

I am a Software Engineer and look after the tech side of things at NODFA. I have found NODFA to be an excellent platform for interacting with peers and also contributing to the society at large through NODFA’s various mentoring and charity initiatives.

Mr Javed Khan

I primarily work in telecommunications (networking and voice) and have vast experience with IT. Also have a keen interest in photography. Very much excited in being part of such an exciting and diverse team and working with you all on future projects.
